Elderly and low-income families needing help with winter energy bills may qualify to participate in a program sponsored by Entergy. The program, tagged Energy Concern, has collected more than $140,000 through donations from customers and employees of Entergy for the fuel fund. In DeSoto County, the Samaritans administer the funds with help from the Salvation Army.
