Neenah business owners reopen doors as post-Christmas shopping rush begins

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – The holiday rush did not end on Christmas Day.

Holiday shoppers embrace ‘thrift-mas’ trend in Kaukauna

In downtown Neenah, shoppers lined the streets, walking in and out of stores just one day after Christmas. For some families, post-Christmas shopping meant preparing for the future.

“Stocking up on Christmas decorations and presents for next year,” the Shultz family said. “Last store was 60% off, so hard to pass up on something like that.”

According to the National Retail Federation, many shoppers are looking ahead, with 70% planning to shop the week after Christmas to take advantage of sales and use gift cards…
