JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson area restaurateur Bob Crechale died Wednesday, according to his son, Anderson Crechale.
Bob Crechale is known within the Jackson community as the owner and manager of Crechale’s Cafe. This cafe has served the Jackson community steaks and fresh seafood since 1956. Crechale’s family said his death stemmed from complications related to a medical procedure that occurred several months earlier.

Outside of the kitchen, Crechale was a father and husband who left behind a long-lasting legacy within the Jackson community.
