With the number of homeless youth who visit Washington County’s only drop-in youth outreach center having doubled over the course of two years, the staff of HomePlate Youth Services are hoping the community will step up to help them out.
That can be done as an end-of-year contribution to help out the facility, which has experienced a drop in state funding as a result of agencies that normally help out the youth center receiving less federal money.
