Saturday Morning Update: The trend of above average temperatures follows us into the start of the weekend as we’re looking at potential record breaking heat for Saturday! I’m forecasting a high of 79 degrees which will be 2 degrees higher than the current record of 77 set a decade ago. The spring-like forecast is similar across the southeast, but winter storms moving across the Rockies, Midwest and Northeast are making post-holiday travel more difficult.
We will have plenty of sunshine today, but change is on the way! On Sunday, clouds move in and temperatures start inching down closer to average.
