Massachusetts Man Accused of Killing Two Outside Brockton Chipotle Still on the Run as Manhunt Continues

Brockton, Massachusetts – Authorities in Massachusetts are continuing an intensive search for a 23-year-old man accused of fatally shooting two teenagers outside a busy restaurant in Brockton before fleeing with help from others. Prosecutors say the suspect has been missing for months, prompting a multi-agency manhunt and a cash reward for information leading to his arrest.

Deadly Shooting Outside Popular Restaurant

According to investigators, the shooting happened on March 22 outside a Chipotle located at 500 Westgate Drive. Authorities say Davinci Leonard, 23, was outside the restaurant at the same time as 18-year-old Cevannah Alvarez and 15-year-old Tymari Albertson.

Prosecutors allege that Leonard and Albertson became involved in an argument while patrons were gathered in the commercial area. Moments later, Leonard allegedly opened fire, striking both teens.

Brockton police officers rushed to the scene and rendered aid. Alvarez and Albertson were transported to area hospitals, where they were later pronounced dead.

Charges Filed as Suspect Remains Missing

Leonard has since been indicted on multiple serious charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without proper identification, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling
