Charleston County Earns National Honor for Outstanding Financial Management

Charleston County Government has earned national recognition for its management and reporting of public funds, receiving the Government Finance Officers Association’s Triple Crown distinction. The award recognizes excellence in three categories: financial reporting, budget presentation, and public-facing financial transparency.

The Triple Crown is one of the highest honors in government finance and reflects Charleston County’s commitment to clear reporting, responsible budgeting, and accountability to residents and taxpayers.
