SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg Police Department arrested a man following a fight outside a bar Friday night.
Officers responded to Main Street Pub around 9 p.m. in reference to a disturbance outside. Upon arrival, officers met with a man who said he had been in a fight with 51-year-old Van Tillman, whom the man and his friends had seen earlier at Fr8yard. The man said that he and Tillman got into a fight after Tillman had hit one of his friends.
Upon reviewing security footage, officers learned that the man and Tillman were arguing out front of the bar when Tillman began pushing the man in the chest. The man pushed Tillman away before Tillman removed what appeared to be a knife from his pocket and attempted to strike at the man…
