Hisle announces run for Magistrate in District 1

On Tuesday of last week, former Clark County Public Schools Board member and current Library Board and Sanitary Sewer Board member Scott Hisle filed as a candidate for Clark County District 1 Magistrate / Justice of the Peace in the Primary Election to be held on May 19, 2026.

Statement: Throughout my years in Winchester, I have been fortunate to work side-by-side with countless neighbors on community service projects, fostering a deep understanding of Clark County’s needs. I am ready to bring my extensive background in business leadership and hands-on community service to the Clark County Fiscal Court. If elected Magistrate, I pledge to continue my steadfast record of protecting taxpayer wallets by fighting to keep taxes low while relentlessly pursuing the optimization and efficiency of every essential county service.
