ALABAMA — A significant weather change is on the way for Alabama after an unseasonably warm weekend, as a cold front moves through the state late Sunday night into Monday, bringing rain, sharply falling temperatures, gusty north winds, and a likely statewide freeze by early Tuesday morning.
Forecasters say temperatures will remain well above average through the weekend, with highs staying in the lower to mid-70s across much of Alabama, before conditions begin to change rapidly late Sunday.
