SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Unseasonably warm air is in place and will continue through the weekend with High pressure in place across the Southeast. A cold front will move through the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry area early next week. Heading out this afternoon/evening? Temperature at 5:26pm sunset will be 71° and 59° by 10pm.

Saturday: Patchy to areas of fog in the morning, lows will be pretty uniform from the beaches to Baxley at 60°. Afternoon highs will climb to the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies, low 70s at the beaches and we’ll likely have a sea breeze in the afternoon, but dry. The record high is 80° last reached ten years ago, 2015.

Sunday: A weak backdoor cold front slowly slides towards us overnight, making for some slightly cooler temperatures: 56/73 with a mix of sun and clouds to mostly cloudy skies…
