Wilmington’s dining scene didn’t just grow in 2025, it evolved. This year brought brand new ideas to the table and new places to gather and eat. In addition to more Latin, Asian and international flavors in general, there are new food hubs and lots of cool spots for cool treats.
More than 120 new restaurants and more opened in 2025 in Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender counties. They represent neighborhood vibes and elevated experiences. New restaurants
Astro Dogs: This Korean-style corndog concept opened in May in the Cargo West food hub in Wilmington. Look for battered dogs and / or cheese on a stick with a variety of toppings and sauces.
