The city of Perrysburg is annexing a land parcel in the 25800 block of Fort Meigs Road as part of a 2001 annexation agreement with Perrysburg Township.
The city is annexing the property to address a “unique boundary situation” in that the township property is an “island” that is situated within the city’s limits but is not part of it and thus does not receive municipal services, said Casey Kenworthy, city spokesman.
The triangular parcel near the intersection of Fort Meigs Road near railroad tracks is owned by Krise Property Group LLC, whose representatives could not be reached for comment…
