MASSILLON, Ohio (WJW) — A family-owned restaurant previously expected to be handed down to the next generation is now expected to close its doors permanently on Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve.
The operators of Smitty’s Steak & Ale, 47 Lincoln Way E., Massillon, made the announcement “with a very heavy heart” Tuesday, Dec. 23, on Facebook.
