Man charged with breaking into a bar, causing $500 worth of damage in Chattanooga Friday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A man now faces several charges after police say his break-in at a bar in the Northshore area of Chattanooga on Friday caused $500 worth of damage.

An arrest report we obtained says officers responded to a burglary reported at Mike’s Hole in the Wall bar in Northshore around 10 am Friday morning. A manager at the bar told officer that some one had thrown a brick through the door just before 3a.m. The manager told officers that the person stole $600 from cash drawers and a $32 bottle of alcohol that he left at on the patio. The arrest report says the door will cost $500 to fix.
