If you were dreaming of a wet Christmas, this was your year. Both Christmas Eve and Christmas day saw plenty of rain, but it looks like it’s finally done for a while. We should see sunshine on Saturday, and some fog on Sunday… but not quite like earlier this month.
Rain totals were impressive from our 3 day storm… generally 1″ to 2″ in the Valley. Fresno picked up 2.02″, Visalia saw 1.8″, NAS Lemoore had 2.2″, and Madera received 1″.
In the Sierra Nevada, it was REALLY impressive: 5″ in Oakhurst, 9″ in Wawona, and over 10″ of water (mostly rain) in Shaver Lake. Wow!…
