La Follette Fire Department first responders use ladder truck to fetch an injured man from a roof
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- This story is from January 11, 2025- With snow falling and temperatures of 27-degrees, first responders with the La Follette Fire Department rescued an injured man from the roof on top of the Lowe’s building Friday afternoon.
At about 12:45pm, the call of an injured man on top of the Lowe’s building came in to La Follette Dispatch. It was reported that the man was working on heating and cooling units on the roof and fell injuring himself.
“Firefighter Daniel Lawson was first on the roof climbing up a barrel ladder to get to the patient. We set up the ladder truck so we could safely bring him off the roof,” said La Follette Fire Chief Jimmy Pack…
