Rescuers pulled deceased man from a partially submerged car in Southern California on Friday as the region experienced flooding from an ongoing atmospheric river, the Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s Department (LASD) told Newsweek in an emailed statement on Saturday.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department found the victim in a blue sedan, near 58th Street East and Avenue H-10 in Lancaster after the vehicle was spotted by a helicopter, the LASD also told Newsweek in its statement.
The identity of the man has not yet been released by the county coroner’s office.
