Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents cited two subjects for alleged fishing violations on Dec. 13 in Terrebonne Parish.
Agents cited Wilmer Melendezavila, 44, and Nelson Survellon, 28, both of Kenner, for violating Wildlife Management Area (WMA) regulations, using a WMA without WMA access permits, fishing without basic fishing and saltwater fishing licenses, possessing undersized black drum, and possessing over the limit of black drum.
Agents were on patrol around on Dec. 13 on the Pointe-aux-Chenes WMA when they made contact with Melendezavila and Survellon around 10 p.m. Nighttime activity on the Pointe-aux-Chenes WMA is prohibited…
