Madison, Wisconsin – Snow and powerful winds are set to hit southern Wisconsin Sunday night, creating hazardous travel conditions into the Monday morning commute as a Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect.
Snow develops Sunday evening, becoming steadier overnight as winds rapidly increase. In Madison and across Dane County, snowfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected by midday Monday. Areas farther east toward Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Dodge, and Washington counties could see 2 to 4 inches.
