When Vlatko Andonovski stepped down from his role as head coach of the Kansas City Current to focus on his duties as sporting director, he left big shoes to fill.
Andonovski helped the Current capture the 2025 NWSL Shield, finishing the season with a pair of league records, having collected 21 wins and 65 points.
