St. Louis, MO – Police in north St. Louis recovered a firearm during a traffic stop today in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood, with investigators later confirming the weapon was connected to a recent ShotSpotter gunfire investigation.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers located the firearm while on patrol in the Wells-Goodfellow area. Police said an 18-year-old and two 17-year-olds were inside the vehicle at the time of the stop. No injuries were reported…
