CHESHIRE, Ore. – A chaotic incident unfolded east of Cheshire on Wednesday night when Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a hit-and-run involving a rental box truck, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO officials said the truck, driven by 46-year-old Christopher Eugene Starnes of Junction City, rammed into victims’ vehicles and damaged property, including a gate.
As deputies gathered details, Starnes was reported to be disorderly and naked on the property, wielding a large knife, sheriff’s officials said. Starnes eventually left the scene in the truck.
