Two Fatal Shootings Rock East and South Fort Worth, Teenager Identified Among Victims

Tragedy struck the community of East Fort Worth on Monday as a teenage boy fell victim to a fatal shooting incident. As reported by WFAA, the Fort Worth Police were called to the scene at the 7400 block of Snow Ridge Dr. shortly before 2:30 p.m. upon receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered a 15-year-old boy, later identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as Ricardo Acevedo, suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

The stricken teenager was quickly transported to an area hospital, but sadly, he did not survive his injuries. As of the moment, authorities have yet to apprehend a suspect. Despite the ongoing investigation, they have stated that the shooting appears to be an isolated event and maintain that there is no current threat to the general public.

In a separate, yet seemingly parallel incident in South Fort Worth, which took place at virtually the same time, another shooting claimed the life of an unidentified man. According to the information disclosed by The Star-Telegram, officers responded to a residence in the same 7400 block of Snow Ridge Drive around 2:25 p.m. Authorities found the man with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
