Two-vehicle crash in Leavenworth County leaves five people injured

LEAVENWORTH COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) – A two-vehicle crash in Leavenworth County left five people with suspected serious injuries, including two minors.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Crash Log, the crash occurred on Saturday around 3:55 p.m. on U.S. 24 at 166th Road.

A 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling southbound on 166th Road. At the same time, a 2003 Ford F150 was traveling eastbound on U.S. 24 when the Jeep failed to yield and entered the intersection…
