Samsung freezer, dishwasher and more from Southeast DC apartment

WASHINGTON (7News) — A number of appliances and tools were stolen after a break-in during a home renovation in Southeast D.C., according to Metropolitian Police Department officers.

The robbery took place on the 900 block of 14th Street Southeast, D.C. this Saturday.

The home’s contractor explained that he had been working on renovations at the site the previous day and had secured all doors before leaving. However, upon returning at 9 a.m., he discovered the front door had been forced open and the rear door left unlocked. Missing from the premises were a Samsung freezer and dishwasher, which had been stored in their orginal boxes on the first floor, as well as a Milwaukee saw, a table saw, a compressor, and a lamp from the basement…
