As often happens at a funeral, people reconnect with old friends. Rob Minster and Mark Cheplowitz made that connection, not reminiscing about their high school classes, but bemoaning the state of disrepair of the graves around them. They decided at that moment not to say “will you look at that…” but “what can we do…”
What they did was to form a cemetery committee to help improve the state of the Akron area’s four Jewish cemeteries now and in perpetuity.
