Deepshikha Bhati is a full-time faculty member and lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Kent State University at Stark.
Her interest in computer science began with a curiosity about how systems work and how technology can solve real-world problems.
“During my graduate studies, I worked with computer vision and face recognition, which drew me toward artificial intelligence,” she said. “Over time, I became deeply interested in explainable AI (XAI) because I saw a critical need for AI systems that are not only accurate but also understandable to people. Today, my research focuses on making AI transparent, responsible, and useful across education, health care, and creative industries, bridging technical innovation with human-centered design.”…
