NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)—Holiday celebrations continue across the Lowcountry as residents observe the third day of Kwanzaa, a weeklong celebration honoring African American culture, heritage, and community.
Kwanzaa runs from December 26 through January 1 and centers around seven guiding principles known as the Nguzo Saba. Each day highlights a different value, with the third day focused on Ujima, meaning collective work and responsibility.
