Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire in Brandon earlier today, marking the second fire call of the shift for crews. The fire was reported around 12:25 p.m. after multiple 911 calls alerted dispatchers to a house fire on Creekbend Drive.
According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Facebook post, crews could see smoke while approaching the scene and declared the incident a working fire. Firefighters arrived to find the home heavily involved with flames and smoke. Hose lines were advanced into the residence, and the fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes.
