OHIO — A Portsmouth man is facing multiple felony charges following a drug-related arrest Saturday night in Scioto County, according to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Jason E. Blair, 33, of Portsmouth, was arrested just after 8 p.m. after officers responded to a reported disturbance on Clayton Court in West Portsmouth. Authorities said they were informed that a man was beating on a door and yelling at a woman inside a residence.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they said Blair attempted to leave the home in a vehicle and tried to drive around law enforcement as officers initiated a traffic stop. Blair was detained, and deputies reported finding drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine during a search.
