Harrisburg Catholic faithful close out jubilee year

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Christmas is behind us, the New Year is fast approaching, and 2025 is coming to a close. So, too, is the Jubilee Year for the Catholic Church.

“Every 25 years is a jubilee year,” Harrisburg Bishop Timothy Senior said, reflecting on the 2025 Jubilee Year on Sunday after a mass celebrating its closing. “It’s really a moment to rekindle our faith and strengthen our faith and particularly to to open our hearts to God’s mercy.”
