JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A suspect has been arrested Sunday morning after a vehicle was stolen during an armed carjacking in Myrtle Beach, S.C., according to the James City County Police Department.
James City County Police received a flock camera alert about the stolen vehicle at around 10:57 a.m. on Dec. 28.
At around 11:10 a.m., officers attempted a traffic stop in the 8500 block of Route 199 eastbound. Officers used a tire deflation device after the driver failed to comply, bringing the vehicle to a stop in the 2000 block of Pocahontas Trail.
The suspect, identified as Angel Gabriel Smith, 21, of Myrtle Beach, was taken into custody at around 11:12 a.m. Smith has been charged with felony evading and eluding, unauthorized use of vehicle and driving with a suspended license…
