Arts Bonita’s live music continues in January with several shows at the Performing Arts Center in Bonita Springs.
Bluesman Sean Chambers will perform Jan. 2. Hailed as one of the top 50 blues guitarists of the last century by Guitarist Magazine, Sean Chambers has been lighting up the blues scene since his career began in 1998 alongside Chicago blues icon Hubert Sumlin. His fiery guitar work and gritty vocals have earned him a devoted following and a string of critically acclaimed albums.
Donna the Buffalo will hit the stage Jan. 3. Bringing their signature blend of folk rock, zydeco, reggae, Cajun, and jam-band grooves, Donna the Buffalo creates a dance party like no other. Founding members Tara Nevins and Jeb Puryear lead the charge with soulful fiddle, accordion, and searing guitar, building a vibe that’s equal parts festival, family reunion and foot-stomping celebration.
Yates McKendree Band will perform Jan. 7. Born and raised in Nashville’s legendary Rock House Studio, Yates McKendree is a Grammy Award-winning multi-instrumentalist and a true torchbearer of traditional blues.
