The Hirdie Girdie Gallery at 2490 Library Way on Sanibel welcomes guest artists Nancy Mayhew and the Woodturners of Southwest Florida (Chapter # 120 of the American Association of Woodturners) for the month of January.
On Thursday, Jan. 8, the gallery will have a “meet and greet” reception from 5 to 8 p.m. At this time, guests will be able to meet and speak with the artists who make Hirdie Girdie so special.
Artist Nancy Mayhew is an award winning mosaic artist. She has always been drawn to mosaic art and her love of recycling old and found items of rusty metal, sea glass, sea shells, driftwood, costume jewelry, broken plates, and glass find their way into her mosaics…
