Tyler Kovach started his journey of service when he was in sixth grade at Brookside Middle School and visited the Second Harvest food pantry.
Struck by conversations at the bank about food and supplies inequality, Kovach, 14, who was born with a condition that affects his balance, hearing and swallowing, started his own nonprofit, Ty’s Community Hands (TCH).
Now, two years later, he’s fundraising for a new cause to support the family of Sheffield Village Police Lt. Aaron Bober, who died in November, and establish a memorial in his honor. He announced the fundraiser on Christmas Day via TCH’s Facebook page…
