South Austin’s sandwich scene is getting a fresh recruit. A local franchisee is planning a new Jersey Mike’s in the Shady Hollow Shopping Center near Brodie Lane, a compact, takeout-forward spot with about 21 indoor seats and potential for outdoor tables. It will be his third Austin-area shop, following earlier openings off Anderson Lane and in Dripping Springs.
