ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Christ the Rock Lutheran Church will soon renovate its gym into a multi-purpose community gathering space.
After successfully fundraising $750,000 for the project, renovations are planned to begin Jan. 5. The plan is to add classrooms to the upper half of the gym and include windows that overlook it. The actual gym floor will be redone as well as adding to its kitchen and storage areas.
