WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Salina Police Department enacted its Emergency Accident Reporting Plan Sunday afternoon due to severe weather and hazardous driving conditions. It has since been canceled.
When conditions worsen, the number of motor vehicle crashes can exceed the department’s ability to respond in a timely manner.
If you were involved in a non‑injury, non‑hit‑and‑run crash that does not require towing and does not involve alcohol or drugs, the incident qualifies for the plan.
