ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — An apartment fire near Louisiana and Montgomery was brought under control by Albuquerque Fire Rescue on Saturday afternoon. Two people were displaced due to the fire.

AFR was dispatched to 7100 Natalie NE at about 12:08 p.m. They found a two-story multifamily home with light smoke and fire coming from the second floor. That fire was brought under control within five minutes, according to AFR. Damage was primarily contained to the apartment where the fire originated.
Two residents had minor burns and smoke inhalation. They were treated on the scene. There were no firefighter injuries reported. Two people were displaced. They are being assisted by Red Cross. A total of two apartments were impacted.
