HPD arrests suspect for Terroistic Threat near Waianae Boat Harbor

WAIANAE, Hawaii (KHON2) — The Honolulu Police Department is investigating a terroristic threatening incident that took place near the Waianae Boat Harbor.

In a recent update, at around 6:41 p.m., nearly three hours after the initial incident, officers responded to an address on Kauiokalani Place in Waianae. They found a 30-year-old male suspect who was arrested on suspicion of Terroristic Threatening.

Police say the incident happened at around 3:40 p.m., Dec. 28, when an unknown man displayed a handgun to a 34-year-old man, fired one round and then pointed the firearm toward the victim before fleeing the scene.

The victim told officers he feared for his life. No injuries were reported…
