BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – One person is dead after a fatal crash on Highway 23 at Ben Hatcher Road.
According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash with injuries at approximately 5:20 A.M. on Monday.

According to investigators, the preliminary investigators indicated that a passenger vehicle traveling westbound on Ben Hatcher Road failed to stop at a posted stop sign and collided with the side of a tractor-trailer traveling southbound on Highway 23.
