George Kenney, 69, of Bel Air, died on Saturday, Dec. 27, while hospitalized following repeated cardiac episodes that began while he was in custody, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
Kenney had been booked into the Harford County Detention Center on Nov. 1, 2025, to serve an 18-month court-imposed sentence related to DWI charges stemming from an Aug. 11 arrest, the sheriff’s office said.
While housed with other inmates on Monday, Dec. 16, Kenney suffered a cardiac-related medical emergency, Harford County officials said.
