Two women killed, two hurt in south Charlotte crash: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two women are dead and two others were hurt after a crash in south Charlotte on Friday night, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Around 7:45 p.m. on December 27, officers responded to the crash near the intersection of Red Rust Lane and Ardrey Kell Road. When they arrived, they saw a 2011 Honda CR-V SUV off the roadway with extensive damage.

The driver, Lorin Elizabeth Manley, and the rear right passenger, Gloria Jeane Manley, were pronounced dead at the scene. A juvenile passenger was unconscious and was taken to Levine Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said…
