A Dade County–issued “Be on the Lookout” alert led to an officer-involved shooting Saturday in neighboring Alabama, leaving a Virginia woman injured after a multi-agency pursuit, authorities said.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), special agents with ALEA’s State Bureau of Investigation have launched an investigation into the shooting, which involved a trooper assigned to ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
