These winds can cause fires to spread rapidly and become dangerous in a very short amount of time. The Robertson County Emergency Management Agency strongly encourages everyone to refrain from burning until weather conditions improve and become more favorable. WEATHER ALERT: The National Weather Service reports that a strong storm system and powerful cold front are moving across Middle Tennessee, including Robertson County. This system is bringing very strong winds, with sustained winds around 25 to 35 mph and gusts that may reach or exceed 40 mph.
