Crews respond to apartment fire in Lancaster County; damages exceed $10,000

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Crews responded to an apartment fire that was estimated to have caused $10,000 in damage in Lancaster County on Sunday.

The Lancaster Township Fire Department reported on Facebook that the fire occurred at the Kensington Club Apartments at 630 Wyncroft Lane at 11:11 p.m. on December 28.

The department states that upon arrival, crews encountered smoke emanating from the first floor of the three-story apartment building. Firefighters say a good Samaritan used two dry chemical fire extinguishers to help extinguish the flames.
