NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A duck hunter had to be rescued Monday morning after he found himself stuck in waist-deep mud near Percy Priest Lake, officials said.
Two duck hunters from Georgia were reportedly setting up when one of them began to sink as he was walking through the mud.

The hunter told News 2 that he was carrying his gun, layout blind, decoys and ammunition bag when he realized he couldn’t get out of the mud.
He added that he was stuck in the waist-deep mud for more than half and hour before fire crews were able to get several large rocks and placed them beside him, which helped him to escape.
