A man charged with assault after Huntsville Police say he shot an elderly relative in early December is now charged with murder.
According to police, the shooting happened on Dec. 6 on Broadview Drive in Huntsville when a domestic dispute between 44-year-old William Douglas Fails Jr. and 80-year-old William Douglas Fails turned violent.
The 80-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and received medical treatment. However, police say the victim later died from his injuries…
