HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The company building out the Northern Bypass — a $35 million road project — says it is making progress on the second phase of the project, including grading, drainage, and paving work.
The City of Huntsville awarded the contract to Wiregrass Construction Company on Nov. 2, 2023, with construction beginning soon after. Earlier this year, the City said the goal was for the second phase to be completed by the end of 2026.
